We are delighted to announce that the refurbishment at the Angel Inn has now completed.

The Grade II listed inn located within the English Lake District World Heritage Site recently underwent a refurbishment to enhance visitor experience, with internal improvements throughout, including to the bar and restaurant. New terraces and landscaping externally will now allow the Inn to be a destination at all times of the year.

Working closely with their client, The Inn Collection Group, who acquired the historic Inn in 2022, GSS have taken careful consideration to retain the character of the much-loved hotel and ensure it is sympathetic to its surroundings, providing the historic building with a sustainable long-term future whilst keeping and reinstating its original features.

This is just one of the many schemes that we are currently working on alongside The Inn Collection Group, with refurbishments also underway at other grade listed inns across the country, including the Waterhead Inn, Wateredge Inn and the Tynemouth Castle Inn.
