GSSArchitecture are delighted to announce that, on behalf of Decorum Estates, planning permission has been granted for a new Bewiched Coffee Drive-Through in Wellingborough, following a successful planning application.
The drive-through is part of the first stage to be developed in the GSS-designed commercial and residential masterplan of Station Island which, once complete, will unify the 3,750 new homes at Stanton Cross and Wellingborough, including a new arrival at the railway station.
The new drive-through is one of fifteen Bewiched stores that have opened across the Midlands since the first opened in Northamptonshire in 2010. GSS are providing Masterplanning, Architectural and Lead Designer services alongside their client Decorum Estates to support Bewiched Coffee’s next venture and to deliver this new leisure opportunity in the local area.

The GSS-designed masterplan at Station Island also includes a mix of residential, business, and retail units and will create a new sustainable community in Northamptonshire. With great transport links to London and Cambridge, Station Island is set to provide a significant number of new homes, as well as job opportunities, together with other leisure and retail units.
Tom Jagger, Partner at GSSArchitecture, said, “As a local Architecture Practice, we’re delighted to be a part of the great team working to deliver the new Bewiched Coffee Drive-Through in Wellingborough. We are looking forward to seeing it start on site in the near future and will pop in for a coffee once it’s complete!”
Chris Carlisle, Director at Decorum Estates added: “This is our second Drive-Through for Bewiched and we are pleased to support their continued growth within the Region. We also anticipate this first project at Station Island will ‘kick start’ further development for Vistry”
We are working alongside their client Decorum Estates, GSSLLP, Drake & Partners, Bromwich Hardy and Vistry Developments on this exciting project.
