Professional services frameworks have become increasingly important over recent years as a method to engage construction professionals in a way that ensures compliance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and that promote a more streamlined way of partnering in the longer term.
As a practice, we have secured positions on a range of established, UK compliant formal frameworks, which enables easier, quicker and cheaper procurement routes for our clients.
A selection of our current frameworks are provided below. In addition, the Practice has also secured places on a number of university frameworks across the country. Having secured places on the framework in the North East, Yorkshire, West Midlands, East Midlands, East of England, South East and the South West, our public sector clients will benefit from being able to access professional services through the streamlined Approved Supplier Agreement, which provide value for money, saving time and delivering measurable social value.
We were successful at securing a place on the Architecture workstream of the LHC Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy Services Framework which covers the South East of England, including Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Essex, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Surrey, West Sussex, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight and Kent.
We have been named as a supplier on the NHS Shared Business Services Healthcare Planning, Construction Consultancy and Ancillary Services Framework. We are able to provide Architectural Services through Lot 1 of the Framework Agreement which will run for four years and provides national coverage to the NHS.
We were successful at securing a place on the Architecture workstream of the NPA (formerly CPC) Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy Services Framework which covers the North East, Yorkshire and The Humber, East Midlands and the East of England. The framework is available for all public sector organisations.
We have successfully secured places on two lots of the North Eastern Universities Purchasing Consortium Ltd’s £80m Construction Professional Services Framework. The framework can be utilised by five prestigious universities including Newcastle, Durham, Teesside, Northumbria, and Sunderland.
We are an accredited supplier to Bloom, a delivery partner to NEPRO³.
NEPRO³ is a Find a Tender compliant procurement framework which assists the UK public sector to buy and manage specialist professional services from a choice of regional and national suppliers. It allows buyers to move quickly and at the lowest possible cost, whilst achieving better outcomes.
Through Lot 4 of the YORhub Professional Services Consultancy Framework, GSS are able to provide architectural services to local authorities and other public organisations throughout the Yorkshire and Humber region.
GSS are able to provide Architectural Services through Lot 3 of the North East Procurement Organisation (NEPO) Support Services for the Development of the Built Environment Framework.
We are also able to provide services through some of the multi-discipline teams on the framework.
We were successful in securing a place Pagabo Professional Services Framework, Lot 15 – Heritage.
Within the South West and Wales regions, clients are able to direct-award us to save both time and money on their projects.

The framework supports the Council’s Customer and Commercial Services Department and will run until 2024.
We are able to provide Architect and Lead Designer Services to clients through the Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council Modern Methods of Construction Architect and Employer’s Agent Framework.
We are able to provide Architectural Services on the West Northamptonshire Council Design Consultancy Framework, which will run for four years, covering the whole of the country.
Following a competitive tendering process, GSS secured first place on the multi-supplier Design Team Framework for Coventry City Council.
The framework supports the council’s ongoing school expansion programme and allows other service areas within the council to call off design team consultancy support for additional capital project requirements.
Developed by Pretium Frameworks with Contracting Authority Community Housing, the Worcestershire and West Midlands Development framework is suitable for the construction of homes and non-dwelling units including shops, offices, and light industrial and industrial units, as well as commercial, community and educational buildings.
