We are delighted to announce that the Practice has secured a place on the University of Huddersfield’s Professional Services Consultancy Framework.
GSS are one of only four architectural practices appointed to the framework which will run for four years, allowing them to provide architectural services for a variety of schemes including the general refurbishment of academic spaces within Grade Listed and partially occupied buildings as well as completing new build projects for the university.
Under the Architectural Services Framework, and in line with the Government’s drive to improve sustainability and accessibility, the appointment to the framework will allow GSS to utilise their expertise in Modern Methods of Construction whilst preserving the history of the University and planning for the future of its students and staff.
Speaking of their recent appointment, Jonathan Hunter, Partner at GSS and Framework Manager said, “As a local practice, we are absolutely delighted to be a part of the University of Huddersfield Professional Services Consultancy Framework. Having delivered a wide range of award-winning projects across the UK, we are looking forward to working closely with the university to see how we can further improve their facilities for staff and students. Collaboration plays a pivotal role in all that we do at GSS, and we look forward to the opportunity this now gives our clients which will assist in our continued growth and success across the country.”
With over 400 education clients nationally, GSSArchitecture have acquired a significant amount of knowledge and experience in the sector. Many of these relationships are longstanding and cover a considerable range of projects including research, science, technology, teaching, learning and student accommodation.
This appointment is the latest Framework success for the Practice, who have recently secured places on the University of Leicester, LHC and Nuneaton and Bedworth Council Frameworks.
