Durham University is in the process of refurbishing its Teaching & Learning spaces with an aim to deliver excellence in Research and Education. As part of this ongoing process, the University has identified areas of opportunity where improvements to existing faculty buildings can support overarching aims to continue to stimulate scholarship, innovation, and collaborative study.

We were appointed to provide multi-disciplinary services to deliver a 5-year refurbishment programme which comprised improvements to the Arthur Holmes, Elvet Riverside, Chemistry, and Psychology buildings. The main intentions of the scheme were to provide fresh and interactive teaching spaces, improving comfortability and bringing them up to current standards.
