The Angel Inn

The Angel Inn is a Grade II listed inn located within the English Lake District World Heritage Site that underwent a refurbishment to enhance visitor experience, with internal improvements throughout, including to the bar and restaurant. New terraces and landscaping externally will now allow the Inn to be a destination at all times of the year.

The works have retained the character of the Inn and are sympathetic to its surroundings, providing the historic building with a sustainable long-term future whilst keeping and reinstating its original features.

This scheme is one of seven that we are currently working on for The Inn Collection Group, including The Wateredge Inn and The Waterhead Inn. Further afield, we are also working as Architects on The Tynemouth Castle Inn project, which will see the redevelopment and upgrades of the former Park Hotel in Tynemouth.
