Lord Williams's School Masterplan

Founded in 1559, Lord Williams's School is located in the town of Thame in Oxfordshire.

The expansion project for the school will allow them to increase from an 11-form entry to a 12-form entry, including refurbishment works, new build English block, new build Learning Resource Centre at the Upper School, and refurbishment works to the Lower School.

We have been appointed by the school to develop options for a more cohesive and secure campus, by creating a school-only link and access to sports facilities.

Close collaboration with all stakeholders was essential throughout the design stages of these enhancements to the school’s estate, ensuring that plans focused on identified areas of improvement, and bringing significant benefit to the school and residents of the surrounding area. Throughout the design process, a strong emphasis was placed on the inclusion of high-quality, attractive soft and hard landscaping, with new trees being planted and outdoor learning areas taking full advantage of the green space available to the school.
