We designed the Woodnewton Children’s Centre which acts as the new main access point for Woodnewton and includes a new nursery, a feature external play area, a community hall, a social open meeting area, and new offices for the Head Teacher and Bursar.

These facilities, together with the private consulting rooms and meeting rooms, further extend the existing services offered to the community by Woodnewton.

The single storey building replaced a former community centre which was on adjacent land. This old centre, together with some garages, was demolished and the Leicester Housing Association constructed 27 new homes, which we designed, on that site.
