Malcolm Arnold Academy

We were appointed as Lead Consultant and Architects to carry out extensive refurbishment and internal alterations at the Malcolm Arnold Academy in Northampton. The scheme addressed the Academy’s inherent issues with the building and also included the demolition of disused buildings and remodelling of the external grounds.

Our scheme transformed the school, creating a dynamic and inspiring space within the existing atrium. The space has now become a multi-use facility, creating areas for break-out teaching, exhibition, and dining for the whole Academy.

The Sixth Form and Learning Resource Centre were also remodelled to provide dedicated facilities for students and presents a showcase for the Academy to encourage pupils into further education.

The external alterations have provided the Academy with new sports pitches, trim trail and wildlife/horticultural teaching areas.
