We supported Coventry City Council as Architect and Lead Consultant on the expansion of John Shelton Community Primary, helping to meet growing demand for SEN primary school places within mainstream schools across the region.

The new enhanced resource provision (ERP) classroom extension was built to better support pupils with additional educational needs. Our design considerations have focused on creating a safe, inclusive, and flexible learning environment, enabling the school to better support up to 10 pupils with specific educational needs. Key features include the provision of a dedicated classroom space with separate regulation room and sensory room to support a range of activities, creating a secure, child-friendly environment that is well connected and integrated into the main school building.
