Food Production & Chemical Facility

We worked closely with this food production and chemical facility who are one of the top-ranked processors of starch, the world leader in polyols, and the leading European producer of maltodextrins and cationic starches.

We delivered numerous phases of work over the years as part of their processing plant development masterplan. The works included three extensions to existing buildings, which remained in production throughout; a new ten-place saccharification tank farm; new bulk chemical storage facilities; and extensions and modifications to the site infrastructure; together with new access roads, hardstanding and pipe bridges.

We worked closely with our client's engineering team to incorporate client-supplied equipment into the structure as the civil works progressed, and the nature of the work required the design team to develop and demonstrate an understanding of our client's industrial processes, all whilst managing the integration of their process installation with the construction works.
