Equestrian Centre

Moulton College is a Centre of Excellence for Education and Training for the Natural, Built and Recreational Environment, and we have been an integral part of their team since 1994. We were instrumental in establishing and delivering the College’s learning environment and educational vision through a collaborative partnering process.

During 2005, we were asked to re-visit the masterplan, paying particular attention to the Pitsford Centre and Main Campus. The proposed development of the Pitsford Centre required very careful consultation with the planning authority as this centre was in open countryside. The new facilities included a wide range of teaching facilities, and specifically required an indoor horse arena, stables and a large animal unit.

We designed and project managed the Equestrian Centre and the new infrastructure included roads and car parking facilities. The centre also incorporates a new steel-framed large indoor arena with a seating area for spectators and a brand new stable complex with adjoining tack shop. A new large animal therapy unit, which includes hydrotherapy, is adjacent.
