Located within the Burton Latimer Conservation Area, The Yews Residential Home for the Elderly is an existing Grade II listed residential home, and we have been working on an exciting project to create a contemporary new build, two-storey extension.

The extension will provide 16 single bedrooms with private en-suite bathrooms and associated welfare accommodation, which will all be linked to the existing listed building via a new glazed link.

A further two shower rooms and a bathroom will be provided for users who require assistance, and, along with additional bedrooms, the new building will provide a lounge and dining room area to be utilised by new and existing residents.

Minor alterations will also be undertaken in order to reconfigure internal areas.

The design of both the extension and glazed link have been carefully considered with context in mind, so that they are complementary to the existing buildings found on the site and also within the conservation area as a whole.
