Petrol Filling Station

We designed the extensive new state-of-the-art filling station at Corby Southern Gateway on the A6003 which is part of a masterplan that we designed for the southern edge of Corby. Known as the Corby Southern Gateway, the plan encompasses part of the Oakley Hay development, adjacent to the A6003, which is a key entrance to the town.

The masterplan also includes a range of commercial and retail units and parking for some 340 vehicles. There are also footpaths and cycle lanes, with facilities for parking bicycles. In all, the area covers the equivalent of just under nine football pitches.

Our client was Tri-Towns, part of Bee Bee Developments, who specialise in urban regeneration, and we also worked closely with the North Northamptonshire Joint Planning Unit to develop the scheme.

We have previously worked with ProLogis UK and Buccleuch Estates to produce a masterplan for the massive commercial development at Kettering North Business Park, which is just along the A6003 from the site of Corby’s Southern Gateway.
